What is a ptc site?
A ptc site is an advertising medium where advertisers pay the members of the site for viewing their site.
How much money can I make?
The key is referrals. The more referrals you have, the more money you make per day. The number of referrals you can have is unlimited, so there's no limit on how much money you can make.
Here is how one's earnings may look:
-if you click all alone at 10 sites, that is about $1 per day.
-if you click with 10 referrals at each 10 sites, that is about $11 per day.
-if you click with 100 referrals at each 10 sites, that is about $111 per day.
-and so on..
Is this worth the time and effort?
This is an individual question.
For example, some people just want to make small money per month for their online hobbies, like an online game subscription or something. Some people may want to make as much money as possible even though they don't really know what they want to do with it other than mindless shopping, perhaps? Then, there are people in between.
The time and effort difference between these two types of people may be pretty big for some people to handle.

What is a spam?
An email spam is unsolicited, unwanted, annoying mail you get in you mailbox. Joining ptc sites and ptc forums increases the chances of getting these. Ignore them, but you might also want to report a spamming ptc user to that site he/she spams about.
